The ability to look forward and see what is going to happen next is a gift from God. Campus development has the dual components of meeting present needs as well as daring to look forward in anticipation of where the next great move of God will happen.
In much of Africa, those needing to be trained are already heavily involved in ministry. Some of these men and women have already planted churches but want to be better equipped for ongoing ministry; others are just desperate to receive training so they can more effectively impact their generation for Christ. Dorms, classrooms, and other Bible school buildings allow spaces for these individuals to receive the critical training they need in order to be on the forefront of seeing hundreds, if not thousands, of new churches planted in Africa. May God help us listen to the leading of His Spirit in order to be in step with what He wants to do in Africa next! We pray that someday soon there will be a healthy church within walking distance of every African!
The Assemblies of God Church of Zimbabwe has committed to plant 500 new churches by the year 2033. With this goal in mind, Africa's Hope is partnering with them to expand the Bible school in Gwanda in order to train ministers to reach the southern half of Zimbabwe. In partnership with Africa Tabernacle Evangelism and Africa Oasis, we are working towards the purchase of land, building of dorms, and the installation of a well and an agricultural project. All of these components will greatly increase the capacity of this school.
Through the expansion of this Bible school, we will see a healthy church within walking distance of many Zimbabweans. ‘Spirit-empowered, biblically trained leaders are the hope of Zimbabwe!’
